EXPERIENCE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Nov. 2002 – To date – Resigned as a partner from KIOGORA MUTAI & CO. ADVOCATES and set up B.M MUSYOKI & CO ADVOCATES based at the aforesaid address. The firm has grown into a formidable level with three advocates and eight support staff.

Feb 1999 – Nov. 2002 – Worked as both litigation and conveyancing counsel with KIOGORA MUTAI & CO. ADVOCATES of Consolidated Bank House, Koinange Street Nairobi. Duties included attending court and conducting hearings, drawing pleadings, debts collection applications, charges, mortgages, documents and conveyancing documents, advising clients on matters of law and protecting their interest. At the time we represented several banks, Insurance Companies and other clients.

Aug 1997 – Oct 1998 – Pupilage with S. K. RITHO & CO ADVOCATES; duties included drafting and proof reading pleadings, applications, affidavits, organizing for the same to be filed, attending land, companies and City Council registries for filing, search and incorporating companies, registering business names and part-time lecturer at Transhemisphere Institute.

1993 – 1997 – Attended several seminars organized by the student of Law and Diplomacy, Kenya Law Student’s Society and University of Nairobi. Giving part time lecturer in Commercial Law at Kenya Institute of Cargo Forwarders and Transhemisphere Institute of Munishram Mansion at Mfangano Street Tel: 246894 Nairobi.
